 pati-vratÄ - devoted to her husband; patim - her husband; dṛṣṭvÄ - seeing; prema - of love; utkaṇṭha - with the eagerness; aÅ›ru - tearful; locanÄ - whose eyes; mÄ«lita - holding closed; akṣī - her eyes; anamat - she bowed down; buddhyÄ - with thoughtful reflection; manasÄ - with her heart; pariá¹£asvaje - she embraced.


Text

When the chaste lady saw her husband, her eyes filled with tears of love and eagerness. As she held her eyes closed, she solemnly bowed down to him, and in her heart she embraced him.
