sÄ - mother YaĹodÄ; gášhÄŤtvÄ - taking; kare - within the hands (being anxious about what KášášŁáša might have eaten); kášášŁášam - KášášŁáša; upÄlabhya - wanted to chastise Him; hita-eᚣiášÄŤ - because she was anxious for the welfare of KášášŁáša, she became very much agitated, thinking, 'How is it that KášášŁáša has eaten earth?'; yaĹodÄ - mother YaĹodÄ; bhaya-sambhrÄnta-prekᚣaáša-akᚣam - began to look very carefully within KášášŁáša's mouth in fear, to see if KášášŁáša had eaten something dangerous; abhÄᚣata - began to address KášášŁáša.
