tatra - there; duryodhanaḥ - Duryodhana; mÄnÄ« - proud; parÄ«taḥ - surrounded; bhrÄtá¹›bhiḥ - by his brothers; ná¹›pa - O King; kirÄ«á¹a - wearing a crown; mÄlÄ« - and a necklace; nyaviÅ›at - entered; asi - a sword; hastaḥ - in his hand; ká¹£ipan - insulting (the doorkeepers); ruá¹£Ä - angrily.
ÅšrÄ«la PrabhupÄda writes that Duryodhana “was always in an envious and angry mood, and therefore, on a slight provocation, he spoke sharply with the doorkeepers and became angry.â€
