sadasyartvig-dvija-śreṣṭhā
brahma-ghoṣeṇa bhūyasā
devarṣi-pitṛ-gandharvās
tuṣṭuvuḥ puṣpa-varṣiṇaḥ

 sadasya - the officiating witnesses; áš›tvik - the priests; dvija - and brāhmaṇas; Ĺ›reᚣᚭhāḼ - most excellent; brahma - of the Vedas; ghoᚣeṇa - with sounding; bhĹŤyasā - abundant; deva - the demigods; áš›ášŁi - divine sages; pitṛ - forefathers; gandharvāḼ - and singers of heaven; tuᚣᚭuvuḼ - recited praises; puᚣpa - flowers; varᚣiṇaḼ - raining down.

The assembly officials, the priests and other excellent brāhmaṇas resoundingly vibrated Vedic mantras, while the demigods, divine sages, Pitās and Gandharvas sang praises and rained down flowers.
