 prasthÄpana - with sending away; upanayanaiḥ - and bringing home; apatyÄnÄm - of the children; mahÄ - great; utsavÄn - holiday celebrations; vÄ«ká¹£ya - seeing; yoga-īśvara - of the masters of yoga; Ä«Å›asya - of the supreme master; yeá¹£Äm - whose; lokÄḥ - the people; visismire - were amazed.

NÄrada observed how ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa, the master of all yoga masters, arranged to send away His daughters and sons-in-law, and also to receive them home again, at the time of great holiday celebrations. All the citizens were astonished to see these celebrations.
