tvam eva mÅ«rdhnÄ«dam ananta lÄ«layÄ
bhÅ«-maṇá¸alaá¹ bibhará¹£i sahasra-mÅ«rdhan
ante ca yaḥ svÄtma-niruddha-viÅ›vaḥ
Å›eá¹£e 'dvitÄ«yaḥ pariÅ›iá¹£yamÄṇaḥ

 tvam - You; eva - alone; mÅ«rdhni - on Your head; idam - this; ananta - O unlimited one; lÄ«layÄ - easily, as a pastime; bhÅ« - of the earth; maṇá¸alam - the globe; bibhará¹£i - (You) carry; sahasra-mÅ«rdhan - O thousand-headed Lord; ante - in the end; ca - and; yaḥ - the one who; sva - Your own; Ätma - within the body; niruddha - having withdrawn; viÅ›vaḥ - the universe; Å›eá¹£e - You lie; advitÄ«yaḥ - without a second; pariÅ›iá¹£yamÄṇaḥ - remaining.


Text

O unlimited one of a thousand heads, as Your pastime You carry this earthly globe upon one of Your heads. At the time of annihilation You withdraw the entire universe within Your body and, remaining all alone, lie down to rest.
