rÄma rÄma - O RÄma, RÄma; mahÄ-bÄho - O mighty-armed one; na jÄne - I do not appreciate; tava - Your; vikramam - prowess; yasya - whose; eka - one; amÅ›ena - by a portion; vidhá¹›tÄ - is sustained; jagatÄ« - the earth; jagataḥ - of the universe; pate - O master.
[Goddess YamunÄ said:] RÄma, RÄma, O mighty-armed one! I know nothing of Your prowess. With a single portion of Yourself You hold up the earth, O Lord of the universe.
The phrase ekÄá¹Å›ena (“with a single portionâ€) refers to the Lord’s expansion as Åšeá¹£a. This is confirmed by the ÄcÄryas.
