mukham - the face; ca - and; prema - of love; saá¹rambha - by the agitation; sphurita - trembling; adharam - with lips; Ä«ká¹£itum - to see; kaá¹Ä - of sidelong glances; ká¹£epa - by the throwing; aruṇa - reddish; apÄá¹…gam - corners of the eyes; sundara - beautiful; bhru - of the eyebrows; kuá¹Ä« - the furrowing; taá¹am - on the edges.
I also wanted to see your face with lips trembling in loving anger, the reddish corners of your eyes throwing sidelong glances and the line of your beautiful eyebrows knit in a frown.
ÅšrÄ«la ViÅ›vanÄtha CakravartÄ« explains here that normally, by the Lord’s transcendental desire, His pure devotees reciprocate with Him in such a way that they satisfy His spiritual desires. But Rukmiṇī’s love was so strong that her unique mood predominated in this situation, and thus instead of becoming angry she fainted and fell to the ground. Far from displeasing Kṛṣṇa, however, she increased His transcendental ecstasy by exhibiting her all-encompassing love for Him.
