 Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; iti - thus; bhÅ«mi - by goddess BhÅ«mi; arthitaḥ - prayed to; vÄgbhiḥ - in those words; bhagavÄn - the Supreme Lord; bhakti - with devotion; namrayÄ - humble; dattvÄ - giving; abhayam - fearlessness; bhauma-gá¹›ham - the residence of BhaumÄsura; prÄviÅ›at - He entered; sakala - all; á¹›ddhi - with opulences; mat - endowed.

Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said: Thus entreated by Goddess BhÅ«mi in words of humble devotion, the Supreme Lord bestowed fearlessness upon her grandson and then entered BhaumÄsura’s palace, which was filled with all manner of riches.
