balavad-vigrahÄkulaḥ
kathaá¹ má¹›jÄmy Ätma-rajaḥ
prasÄ«ded vÄcyutaḥ katham
kim ká¹›tvÄ sÄdhu mahyaá¹ syÄn
na Å›aped vÄ jano yathÄ
adÄ«rgha-darÅ›anaá¹ ká¹£udraá¹
mÅ«á¸haá¹ draviṇa-lolupam
dÄsye duhitaraá¹ tasmai
strī-ratnaṠratnam eva ca
upÄyo 'yaá¹ samÄ«cÄ«nas
tasya Å›Äntir na cÄnyathÄ
saḥ - he; anudhyÄyan - pondering over; tat - that; eva - indeed; agham - offense; bala-vat - with those who are powerful; vigraha - about a conflict; Äkulaḥ - worried; katham - how; má¹›jÄmi - will I cleanse; Ätma - of myself; rajaḥ - the contamination; prasÄ«det - may become satisfied; vÄ - or; acyutaḥ - Lord Kṛṣṇa; katham - how; kim - what; ká¹›tvÄ - doing; sÄdhu - good; mahyam - for me; syÄt - there may be; na Å›apet - may not curse; vÄ - or; janaḥ - the people; yathÄ - so as; adÄ«rgha - short-ranged; darÅ›anam - whose vision; ká¹£udram - petty; mÅ«á¸ham - befooled; draviṇa - after wealth; lolupam - avaricious; dÄsye - I will give; duhitaram - my daughter; tasmai - to Him; strÄ« - of women; ratnam - the jewel; ratnam - the jewel; eva ca - as well; upÄyaḥ - means; ayam - this; samÄ«cÄ«naḥ - effective; tasya - His; Å›Äntiḥ - pacification; na - not; ca - and; anyathÄ - otherwise.
