upalabhya hṛṣīkeÅ›aá¹
má¹›taá¹ punar ivÄgatam
saha patnyÄ maṇi-grÄ«vaá¹
sarve jÄta-mahotsavÄḥ
upalabhya - recognizing; hṛṣīkeÅ›am - the Lord of the senses; má¹›tam - someone dead; punaḥ - again; iva - as if; Ägatam - come; saha - with; patnyÄ - a wife; maṇi - the jewel; grÄ«vam - on His neck; sarve - all of them; jÄta - aroused; mahÄ - great; utsavÄḥ - rejoicing.
According to ÅšrÄ«la ViÅ›vanÄtha CakravartÄ«, JÄmbavÄn had placed the jewel on the Lord’s neck when he had presented his daughter in marriage.
