pratimucya mahÄ-prabham
praseno hayam Äruhya
má¹›gÄyÄá¹ vyacarad vane
tam - that; ekadÄ - once; maṇim - the jewel; kaṇá¹he - on his neck; pratimucya - fixing; mahÄ - greatly; prabham - effulgent; prasenaḥ - Prasena (the brother of SatrÄjit); hayam - a horse; Äruhya - mounting; má¹›gÄyÄm - for hunting; vyacarat - went about; vane - in the forest.
The inauspicious result of SatrÄjit’s refusal of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s request is about to manifest.
