tac chrutvā mahad āścaryaṁ
kṛṣṇāntaḥ-pura-yoṣitaḥ
abhyanandan bahōn abdān
naṣṭaṁ mṛtam ivāgatam

 tat - that; Ĺ›rutvā - hearing; mahat - great; ÄĹ›caryam - wonder; kṛṣṇa-antaḼ-pura - of Lord Kṛṣṇa's personal residence; yoᚣitaḼ - the women; abhyanandan - they greeted; bahĹŤn - for many; abdān - years; naᚣᚭam - lost; mṛtam - someone dead; iva - as if; Ägatam - returned.

When the women of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s palace heard this most amazing account, they joyfully greeted Pradyumna, who had been lost for many years but who had now returned as if from the dead.
