su-snÄtÄm - properly bathed; su-datÄ«m - with spotless teeth; kanyÄm - the bride; ká¹›ta - having performed; kautuka-maá¹…galÄm - the ceremony of putting on the auspicious marriage necklace; Ähata - unused; amÅ›uka - of garments; yugmena - with a pair; bhūṣitÄm - adorned; bhūṣaṇa - with ornaments; uttamaiḥ - most excellent.
According to ÅšrÄ«la ViÅ›vanÄtha CakravartÄ«, only spotless clothing fresh off the loom should be worn during auspicious ceremonies.
