vipine giri-gahvare

vicarasy uru-kaṇṭake

 Å›rÄ«-mucukundaḥ uvÄca - Å›rÄ« Mucukunda said; kaḥ - who; bhavÄn - are You; iha - here; samprÄptaḥ - arrived together (with me); vipine - in the forest; giri-gahvare - in a mountain cave; padbhyÄm - with Your feet; padma - of a lotus; palÄÅ›ÄbhyÄm - (which are like) the petals; vicarasi - You are walking; uru-kaṇṭake - which is full of thorns.

Śrī Mucukunda said: Who are You who have come to this mountain cave in the forest, having walked on the thorny ground with feet as soft as lotus petals?
