 atha - thereupon; tÄn - them; durabhiprÄyÄn - with evil intent; vilokya - seeing; bala-keÅ›avau - BalarÄma and Kṛṣṇa; kruddhau - angry; dhanvanaḥ - of the bow; ÄdÄya - taking; Å›akale - the two broken pieces; tÄn - them; ca - and; jaghnatuḥ - struck.

Seeing the guards coming upon Them with evil intent, BalarÄma and KeÅ›ava took up the two halves of the bow and began striking them down.
