Å›rÄ«-Å›uka uvÄca
stuvatas tasya bhagavÄn
darÅ›ayitvÄ jale vapuḥ
bhÅ«yaḥ samÄharat kṛṣṇo
naá¹o nÄá¹yam ivÄtmanaḥ
Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; stuvataḥ - while praying; tasya - he, AkrÅ«ra; bhagavÄn - the Supreme Lord; darÅ›ayitvÄ - having shown; jale - in the water; vapuḥ - His personal form; bhÅ«yaḥ - again; samÄharat - withdrew; kṛṣṇaḥ - ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa; naá¹aḥ - an actor; nÄá¹yam - the performance; iva - as; Ätmanaḥ - his own.
Lord Kṛṣṇa withdrew from Akrūra’s sight the Viṣṇu form along with the vision of the spiritual sky and its eternal inhabitants.
