kaá¹so batÄdyÄká¹›ta me 'ty-anugrahaá¹
draká¹£ye 'á¹…ghri-padmaá¹ prahito 'munÄ hareḥ
ká¹›tÄvatÄrasya duratyayaá¹ tamaḥ
pÅ«rve 'taran yan-nakha-maṇá¸ala-tviá¹£Ä

 kaá¹saḥ - King Kaá¹sa; bata - indeed; adya - today; aká¹›ta - has done; me - toward me; ati-anugraham - an act of extreme kindness; draká¹£ye - I will see; aá¹…ghri-padmam - the lotus feet; prahitaḥ - sent; amunÄ - by him; hareḥ - of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; ká¹›ta - who has enacted; avatÄrasya - His descent to this world; duratyayam - insurmountable; tamaḥ - the darkness of material existence; pÅ«rve - persons in the past; ataran - transcended; yat - whose; nakha-maṇá¸ala - of the orb of the toenails; tviá¹£Ä - by the effulgence.

Indeed, today King Kaá¹sa has shown me extreme mercy by sending me to see the lotus feet of Lord Hari, who has now appeared in this world. Simply by the effulgence of His toenails, many souls in the past have transcended the insurmountable darkness of material existence and achieved liberation.

Purport

AkrÅ«ra noted how ironic it was that the envious, demoniac Kaá¹sa had given him an extraordinary blessing by sending him to see the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa.
