tala-śabdena kopayan
sakhyur aá¹se bhujÄbhogaá¹
prasÄryÄvasthito hariḥ
iti - speaking thus; Äsphotya - slapping His arms; acyutaḥ - the infallible Lord; ariá¹£á¹am - Ariá¹£á¹Äsura; tala - from His palms; Å›abdena - with the sound; kopayan - angering; sakhyuḥ - of a friend; aá¹se - over the shoulder; bhuja - His arm; Äbhogam - (which is like) a serpent's body; prasÄrya - throwing; avasthitaḥ - was standing; hariḥ - Lord Hari.
Lord Kṛṣṇa showed His contempt for the ignorant demon.
