ÄÅ›liá¹£ya sama-śītoṣṇaá¹
prasÅ«na-vana-mÄrutam
janÄs tÄpaá¹ jahur gopyo
na kṛṣṇa-hṛta-cetasaḥ

 ÄÅ›liá¹£ya - embracing; sama - equal; Å›Ä«ta-uṣṇam - between cold and heat; prasÅ«na-vana - of the forest of flowers; mÄrutam - the wind; janÄḥ - the people in general; tÄpam - suffering; jahuḥ - were able to abandon; gopyaḥ - the gopÄ«s; na - not; kṛṣṇa - by Lord Kṛṣṇa; há¹›ta - stolen; cetasaḥ - whose hearts.


Text

Except for the gopīs, whose hearts had been stolen by Kṛṣṇa, the people could forget their suffering by embracing the wind coming from the flower-filled forest. This wind was neither hot nor cold.
