gopÄÅ› ca gÄvaḥ prasamÄ«ká¹£ya bhÄ«tÄḥ
Å«cuÅ› ca kṛṣṇaá¹ sa-balaá¹ prapannÄ
yathÄ hariá¹ má¹›tyu-bhayÄrditÄ janÄḥ
tam - that; Äpatantam - setting upon them; paritaḥ - on all sides; dava-agnim - the forest fire; gopÄḥ - the cowherd boys; ca - and; gÄvaḥ - the cows; prasamÄ«ká¹£ya - intensely watching; bhÄ«tÄḥ - afraid; Å«cuḥ - they addressed; ca - and; kṛṣṇam - Lord Kṛṣṇa; sa-balam - and Lord BalarÄma; prapannÄḥ - taking shelter; yathÄ - as; harim - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; má¹›tyu - of death; bhaya - by fear; arditÄḥ - troubled; janÄḥ - persons.
