evaá¹ vá¹›ndÄvanaá¹ Å›rÄ«mat
kṛṣṇaḥ prÄ«ta-manÄḥ paśūn
reme sañcÄrayann adreḥ
sarid-rodhaḥsu sÄnugaḥ

 Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; evam - in this way; vá¹›ndÄvanam - with the forest of Vá¹›ndÄvana and its inhabitants; Å›rÄ«mat - beautiful; kṛṣṇaḥ - Lord Kṛṣṇa; prÄ«ta-manÄḥ - being satisfied in His mind; paśūn - the animals; reme - He took pleasure; sañcÄrayan - making them graze; adreḥ - in the vicinity of the mountain; sarit - of the river; rodhaḥsu - upon the banks; sa-anugaḥ - together with His companions.

Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said: Thus expressing His satisfaction with the beautiful forest of Vá¹›ndÄvana and its inhabitants, Lord Kṛṣṇa enjoyed tending the cows and other animals with His friends on the banks of the river YamunÄ below Govardhana Hill.
