yaiḥ kopitaá¹ brahma-kulaá¹
rÄjanyair ajitÄtmabhiḥ
tat kulaá¹ pradahaty ÄÅ›u
sÄnubandhaá¹ Å›ucÄrpitam
yaiḥ - by those; kopitam - enraged; brahma-kulam - the order of the brÄhmaṇas; rÄjanyaiḥ - by the administrative order; ajita - unrestricted; Ätmabhiḥ - by oneself; tat - that; kulam - family; pradahati - is burnt up; ÄÅ›u - within no time; sa-anubandham - together with family members; Å›ucÄ-arpitam - being put into grief.
The brÄhmaṇa order of society, or the spiritually advanced caste or community, and the members of such highly elevated families, were always held in great esteem by the other, subordinate castes, namely the administrative kingly order, the mercantile order and the laborers.
