saṅkhyā lāgi' - for counting; dui-hāte - in two hands; aṅgulīte - on the fingers; lekhā - marking; sahasra-ādi - one thousand times; pūrṇa haile - when finished; aṅge - on the body; kāṭe rekhā - makes a mark.
