hlÄdinyÄ - by the hlÄdinÄ« potency; samvidÄ - by the samvit potency; ÄÅ›liá¹£á¹aḥ - surrounded; sat-cit-Änandaḥ - always transcendentally blissful; īśvaraḥ - the supreme controller; sva - own; avidyÄ - by ignorance; saá¹vá¹›taḥ - surrounded; jÄ«vaḥ - the living entity; saá¹…kleÅ›a - of the threefold miseries; nikara - of the multitude; Äkaraḥ - the mine.
This verse is found in ÅšrÄ«dhara SvÄmī’s BhÄvÄrtha-dÄ«pikÄ (1.7.6), wherein he quotes ÅšrÄ« Viṣṇu SvÄmÄ«.
