 aneka - many; karilÄ - made; yatna - endeavors; nÄ haya - there was not; cetana - consciousness; prabhure - ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; uá¹­hÄÃ±Ä - lifting; ghare - home; ÄnilÄ - brought; bhakta-gaṇa - the devotees.


Text

The devotees tried to rouse the Lord by various means, but His consciousness did not return. Therefore they all lifted Him and brought Him back home.
