vÄ«ká¹£ya mÄnaá¹ ca keÅ›avaḥ
praÅ›amÄya prasÄdÄya
tatraivÄntaradhÄ«yata

 tÄsÄm - of the gopÄ«s; tat - their; saubhaga-madam - pride due to great fortune; vÄ«ká¹£ya - seeing; mÄnam - conception of superiority; ca - and; keÅ›avaḥ - Kṛṣṇa, who subdues even Ka (Lord BrahmÄ) and Īśa (Lord Åšiva); praÅ›amÄya - to subdue; prasÄdÄya - to show mercy; tatra - there; eva - certainly; antaradhÄ«yata - disappeared.

“ ‘The gopÄ«s became proud of their great fortune. To subdue their sense of superiority and show them special favor, KeÅ›ava, the subduer of even Lord BrahmÄ and Lord Åšiva, disappeared from the rÄsa dance.’ â€
