ethÄ prabhu-ÄjñÄya rÅ«pa ÄilÄ vá¹›ndÄvana
kṛṣṇa-lÄ«lÄ-nÄá¹­aka karite haila mana

 ethÄ - on the other side; prabhu-ÄjñÄya - upon the order of Åš rÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu: rÅ«pa - RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ«; ÄilÄ - went; vá¹›ndÄvana - to Vá¹›ndÄvana; kṛṣṇa-lÄ«lÄ-nÄá¹­aka - a drama on Lord Kṛṣṇa's pastimes; karite - to compose; haila - it was; mana - the mind.

Meanwhile, following the order of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu, ÅšrÄ«la RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ« returned to Vá¹›ndÄvana. He desired to write dramas concerning the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
