ÅšrÄ« Raá¹…ga PurÄ« informed ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu that the sannyÄsÄ« named Åšaá¹…karÄraṇya had attained perfection in that holy place, PÄṇá¸arapura.

Purport

ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu’s elder brother was named ViÅ›varÅ«pa. He left home before ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu and accepted the sannyÄsa order under the name of Åšaá¹…karÄraṇya SvÄmÄ«. He traveled all over the country and finally went to PÄṇá¸arapura, where He passed away after attaining perfection. In other words, He entered the spiritual world after giving up His mortal body at PÄṇá¸arapura. ÅšrÄ« Raá¹…ga PurÄ«, a disciple of ÅšrÄ« MÄdhavendra PurÄ« and Godbrother of Īśvara PurÄ«, disclosed this important news to ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu.
