ācārya kahe, — 'varṇāśrama-dharma, kṛṣṇe samarpaṇa'
ei haya kṛṣṇa-bhaktera śreṣṭha 'sādhana'

 Äcārya kahe - the ācārya said; varṇa-āśrama-dharma - the institution of four castes and four āśramas; kṛṣṇe - unto Kṛṣṇa; samarpaṇa - to dedicate; ei haya - this is; kṛṣṇa-bhaktera - of the devotee of Kṛṣṇa; Ĺ›reᚣᚭha sādhana - the best means of achievement.

The ācārya replied, “When the activities of the four castes and the four āśramas are dedicated to Kṛṣṇa, they constitute the best means whereby one can attain the highest goal of life.
