bhakta-gaṇa upavÄsÄ« tÄhÄá¹…i rahilÄ
Ära dine duḥkhÄ« haÃ±Ä nÄ«lÄcale ÄilÄ

 bhakta-gaṇa - the devotees; upavÄsÄ« - fasting; tÄhÄá¹…i - there; rahilÄ - remained; Ära dine - on the next day; duḥkhÄ« - unhappy; haÃ±Ä - becoming; nÄ«lÄcale - to JagannÄtha PurÄ«; ÄilÄ - returned.

All the devotees remained there and fasted, and the next day they all unhappily returned to JagannÄtha PurÄ«.
