tabe muñi niá¹£edhinu, — Å›una, dvija-vara
tomÄra kanyÄra yogya nahi muñi vara

 tabe - at that time; muñi - I; niá¹£edhinu - forbade; Å›una - hear; dvija-vara - O best of the brÄhmaṇas; tomÄra - your; kanyÄra - for the daughter; yogya - suitable; nahi - not; muñi - I; vara - husband.
