 vipra bale - the brÄhmaṇa says; sÄkṣī - a witness; bolÄÃ±Ä - calling for; karibeka - there will be; nyÄya - justice; jiti' - winning; kanyÄ - the daughter; labe - he will take; mora - my; vyartha - meaningless; dharma - religious principles; haya - will be.

The elderly brÄhmaṇa said, “If I do not give my daughter to the young brÄhmaṇa, he will call ÅšrÄ« GopÄlajÄ« as a witness. Thus he will take my daughter by force, and in that case my religious principles will become meaningless.â€
