 eta bali' - saying this; namaskari' - offering obeisances; kaila - did; gaá¹…gÄ-snÄna - bathing in the Ganges; eka kaupÄ«na - only one piece of underwear; nÄhi - there was not; dvitÄ«ya - second; paridhÄna - garment.

After reciting this mantra, ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu offered obeisances and took His bath in the Ganges. At that time He had on only one piece of underwear, for there was no second garment.
