 cit-Änanda-bhÄnoḥ - of the direct manifestation of spiritual energy and bliss; sadÄ - always; nanda-sÅ«noḥ - of the son of MahÄrÄja Nanda; para-prema-pÄtrÄ« - the giver of the highest love; drava-brahma-gÄtrÄ« - composed of the water of the spiritual world; aghÄnÄm - of all sins and offenses; lavitrÄ« - the destroyer; jagat-ká¹£ema-dhÄtrÄ« - the performer of everything auspicious for the world; pavitrÄ«-kriyÄt - kindly purify; naḥ - our; vapuḥ - existence; mitra-putrÄ« - the daughter of the sun-god.

“O river YamunÄ, you are the blissful spiritual water that gives love to the son of Nanda MahÄrÄja. You are the same as the water of the spiritual world, for you can vanquish all our offenses and the sinful reactions incurred in life. You are the creator of all auspicious things for the world. O daughter of the sun-god, kindly purify us by your pious activities.â€
