 purÄ« - ParamÄnanda PurÄ«; bhÄratÄ«ra - and of BrahmÄnanda BhÄratÄ«; prabhu - Lord ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; vandilena caraṇa - worshiped the feet; doá¹…he - both the elderly sannyÄsÄ«s; mahÄprabhure - ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; kailÄ - did; prema-Äliá¹…gana - embracing in love.

When ParamÄnanda PurÄ« and BrahmÄnanda BhÄratÄ« met ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu, the Lord offered them His respectful obeisances due to their being Godbrothers of His spiritual master. They both then embraced ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu in love and affection.
