taraḥ pÅ«rṇa iti tridhÄ

nÄá¹­ye yaḥ paripaá¹­hyate

 hariḥ - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; pÅ«rṇa-tamaḥ - most complete; pÅ«rṇa-taraḥ - more complete; pÅ«rṇaḥ - complete; iti - thus; tridhÄ - three stages; Å›reṣṭha - best; madhya-Ädibhiḥ - middle, etc.; Å›abdaiḥ - by the words; nÄá¹­ye - in books on dramatics; yaḥ - who; paripaá¹­hyate - is proclaimed.

“ ‘This is stated in the dramatic literatures as “perfect,†“more perfect†and “most perfect.†Thus Lord Kṛṣṇa manifests Himself in three ways — perfect, more perfect and most perfect.
