ḍubite lāgila naukā, jhalake bhare jala

 mahāprabhura - of ŚrÄ« Caitanya Mahāprabhu; bhare - because of the weight; naukā - the boat; kare - does; á¹­alamala - tilting; á¸ubite - to sink; lāgila - began; naukā - the boat; jhalake - in gushes; bhare - fills; jala - water.

Due to the Lord’s heavy weight, the boat began to tilt. It began filling up with water and was on the verge of sinking.
