Å›Äntera svabhÄva — kṛṣṇe mamatÄ-gandha-hÄ«na
'paraá¹-brahma'-'paramÄtmÄ'-jñÄna pravīṇa

 Å›Äntera svabhÄva - the characteristic of Å›Änta-rasa; kṛṣṇe - in Kṛṣṇa; mamatÄ-gandha-hÄ«na - not even the smallest quantity of intimacy; param-brahma - impersonal Brahman; paramÄtmÄ - the localized situation of the Lord; jñÄna - knowledge; pravīṇa - prominence.

“It is the nature of Å›Änta-rasa that not even the smallest intimacy exists. Rather, knowledge of impersonal Brahman and localized ParamÄtmÄ is prominent.

Purport

Because of an impersonal impression of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, a devotee in the Å›Änta-rasa relationship worships the impersonal Brahman or localized aspect of the Absolute Truth (ParamÄtmÄ). He does not develop a personal relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa.
