yat te sujÄta-caraṇÄmburuhaá¹ staneá¹£u
bhÄ«tÄḥ Å›anaiḥ priya dadhÄ«mahi karkaÅ›eá¹£u
tenÄá¹avÄ«m aá¹asi tad vyathate na kiá¹ svit
kÅ«rpÄdibhir bhramati dhÄ«r bhavad-Äyuá¹£Äá¹ naḥ
yat - which; te - Your; sujÄta - very fine; caraṇa-ambu-ruham - lotus feet; staneá¹£u - on the breasts; bhÄ«tÄḥ - being afraid; Å›anaiḥ - gently; priya - O dear one; dadhÄ«mahi - we place; karkaÅ›eá¹£u - rough; tena - with them; aá¹avÄ«m - the path; aá¹asi - You roam; tat - they; vyathate - are distressed; na - not; kim svit - we wonder; kÅ«rpa-Ädibhiḥ - by small stones and so on; bhramati - flutters; dhīḥ - the mind; bhavat-Äyuá¹£Äm - of those of whom Your Lordship is the very life; naḥ - of us.
This is a verse from ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam (10.31.19) spoken by the gopÄ«s when Kṛṣṇa left them in the midst of the rÄsa-lÄ«lÄ.
