'vedÄnta' Å›ravaṇa kara, nÄ yÄiha tÄá¹…ra pÄÅ›a
ucchṛṅkhala-loka-saá¹…ge dui-loka-nÄÅ›a"
vedÄnta - the philosophy of VedÄnta; Å›ravaṇa kara - go on hearing; nÄ - do not; yÄiha - go; tÄá¹…ra pÄÅ›a - near Him; ucchṛṅkhala - upstart; loka - people; saá¹…ge - in the association of; dui-loka-nÄÅ›a - destruction in this world and the next.
The word ucchṛṅkhala, meaning “whimsical,†is significant in this verse. In the Bhagavad-gÄ«tÄ (16.23), Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself says:
yaḥ Å›Ästra-vidhim utsá¹›jya vartate kÄma-kÄrataḥ
na sa siddhim avÄpnoti na sukhaá¹ na parÄá¹ gatim
“If one acts whimsically and does not follow the Å›Ästric principles, he will never attain perfection, happiness or the spiritual world.â€
