Ädaraḥ paricaryÄyÄá¹
sarvÄá¹…gair abhivandanam
mad-bhakta-pÅ«jÄbhyadhikÄ
sarva-bhūteṣu man-matiḥ
mad-artheá¹£v aá¹…ga-ceá¹£á¹Ä ca
vacasÄ mad-guṇeraṇam
mayy arpaṇaṠca manasaḥ
sarva-kÄma-vivarjanam
Ädaraḥ - respect, care; paricaryÄyÄm - in service; sarva-aá¹…gaiḥ - by all the parts of the body; abhivandanam - offering obeisances; mat-bhakta - of My devotees; pÅ«jÄ - worshiping; abhyadhikÄ - very high; sarva-bhÅ«teá¹£u - in all living entities; mat-matiḥ - realization of having a relationship with Me; mat-artheá¹£u - for the sake of My service; aá¹…ga-ceá¹£á¹Äḥ - engaging the bodily energy; ca - and; vacasÄ - by words; mat-guṇa-Ä«raṇam - describing My glories; mayi - unto Me; arpaṇam - dedicating; ca - and; manasaḥ - of the mind; sarva-kÄma - all material desires; vivarjanam - giving up.
These two verses are quoted from ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam (11.19.21-22). They were spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Kṛṣṇa, who was answering Uddhava’s inquiry about devotional service.
