dÄmodara kahe, — Å›aá¹…kara choá¹­a ÄmÄ haite
ebe ÄmÄra baá¸a bhÄi tomÄra ká¹›pÄte

 dÄmodara kahe - DÄmodara Paṇá¸ita replied; Å›aá¹…kara - Åšaá¹…kara; choá¹­a - younger; ÄmÄ haite - than me; ebe - now; ÄmÄra - my; baá¸a bhÄi - elder brother; tomÄra - of You; ká¹›pÄte - by the mercy.

DÄmodara Paṇá¸ita replied, “Śaá¹…kara is my younger brother, but from today he becomes my elder brother because of Your special mercy upon him.â€
