prema vinÄ kabhu nahe tÄá¹…ra sÄká¹£ÄtkÄra
iá¹…hÄra ká¹›pÄte haya daraÅ›ana iá¹…hÄra
prema vinÄ - without ecstatic love; kabhu nahe - there is never; tÄá¹…ra - His; sÄká¹£ÄtkÄra - direct meeting; iá¹…hÄra ká¹›pÄte - by the mercy of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; haya - becomes possible; daraÅ›ana - visit; iá¹…hÄra - of BrahmÄnanda BhÄratÄ«.
ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu said, “You are BrahmÄnanda BhÄratÄ«, an advanced devotee who ecstatically loves the Supreme Lord. Therefore you see Kṛṣṇa everywhere, and there is no doubt about it.†SÄrvabhauma Bhaá¹á¹ÄcÄrya was a mediator between ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu and BrahmÄnanda BhÄratÄ«, and his judgment was that an advanced devotee like BrahmÄnanda BhÄratÄ« was seeing Kṛṣṇa by Kṛṣṇa’s mercy. Kṛṣṇa directly presents Himself before the vision of an advanced devotee. Since BrahmÄnanda BhÄratÄ« was an advanced devotee, he saw Kṛṣṇa in the person of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu. In the words of the Brahma-saá¹hitÄ (5.38):
premÄñjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena
santaḥ sadaiva hṛdayeṣu vilokayanti
yaá¹ Å›yÄmasundaram acintya-guṇa-svarÅ«paá¹
govindam Ädi-puruá¹£aá¹ tam ahaá¹ bhajÄmi
“I worship the primeval Lord, Govinda, who is always seen by the devotee whose eyes are anointed with the pulp of love. He is seen in His eternal form of ÅšyÄmasundara, situated within the heart of the devotee.â€
