Text

At those times, ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu would visit Lord JagannÄtha. Then His feelings exactly corresponded to those of the gopÄ«s when they saw Kṛṣṇa at Kuruká¹£etra after long separation. Kṛṣṇa had come to Kuruká¹£etra with His brother and sister to visit.

Purport

When Kṛṣṇa was performing yajña (sacrifice) at Kuruká¹£etra, He invited all the inhabitants of Vá¹›ndÄvana to come see Him. Lord Caitanya’s heart was always filled with separation from Kṛṣṇa, but as soon as He had the opportunity to visit the JagannÄtha temple, He became fully absorbed in the thoughts of the gopÄ«s who came to see Kṛṣṇa at Kuruká¹£etra.
