apÄraá¹ kasyÄpi praṇayi-jana-vá¹›ndasya kutukÄ«
rasa-stomaá¹ há¹›tvÄ madhuram upabhoktuá¹ kam api yaḥ
rucaá¹ svÄm Ävavre dyutim iha tadÄ«yÄá¹ prakaá¹­ayan
sa devaÅ› caitanyÄká¹›tir atitarÄá¹ naḥ ká¹›payatu

 apÄram - boundless; kasya api - of someone; praṇayi-jana-vá¹›ndasya - of the multitude of lovers; kutukÄ« - one who is curious; rasa-stomam - the group of mellows; há¹›tvÄ - stealing; madhuram - sweet; upabhoktum - to enjoy; kam api - some; yaḥ - who; rucam - luster; svÄm - own; Ävavre - covered; dyutim - luster; iha - here; tadÄ«yÄm - related to Him; prakaá¹­ayan - manifesting; saḥ - He; devaḥ - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; caitanya-Äká¹›tiḥ - having the form of Lord Caitanya MahÄprabhu; atitarÄm - greatly; naḥ - unto us; ká¹›payatu - may He show His mercy.

“Lord Kṛṣṇa desired to taste the limitless nectarean mellows of the love of one of His multitude of loving damsels [ÅšrÄ« RÄdhÄ], and so He has assumed the form of Lord Caitanya. He has tasted that love while hiding His own dark complexion with Her effulgent yellow color. May that Lord Caitanya confer upon us His grace.â€
