kaá¹sÄrir api saá¹sÄra-
vÄsanÄ-baddha-śṛṅkhalÄm
rÄdhÄm ÄdhÄya há¹›daye
tatyÄja vraja-sundarīḥ

 kaá¹sa-ariḥ - Lord Kṛṣṇa, the enemy of Kaá¹sa; api - moreover; saá¹sÄra - for the essence of enjoyment (rÄsa-lÄ«lÄ); vÄsanÄ - by the desire; baddha - tied on; Å›á¹›á¹…khalÄm - who was like the chains; rÄdhÄm - ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī; ÄdhÄya - taking; há¹›daye - in the heart; tatyÄja - left aside; vraja-sundarīḥ - the other gopÄ«s.

“Lord Kṛṣṇa, the enemy of Kaá¹sa, left aside the other gopÄ«s during the rÄsa dance and took ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī to His heart, for She is the helper of the Lord in realizing the essence of His desires.â€

In this verse from the GÄ«ta-govinda (3.1), Jayadeva GosvÄmÄ« describes ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa’s leaving the rÄsa-lÄ«lÄ to search for ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī.
