sphurati mama garÄ«yÄn eá¹£a mÄdhurya-pÅ«raḥ
ayam aham api hanta preká¹£ya yaá¹ lubdha-cetÄḥ
sarabhasam upabhoktuá¹ kÄmaye rÄdhikeva
aparikalita - not experienced; pÅ«rvaḥ - previously; kaḥ - who; camatkÄra-kÄrÄ« - causing wonder; sphurati - manifests; mama - My; garÄ«yÄn - more great; eá¹£aḥ - this; mÄdhurya-pÅ«raḥ - abundance of sweetness; ayam - this; aham - I; api - even; hanta - alas; preká¹£ya - seeing; yam - which; lubdha-cetÄḥ - My mind being bewildered; sa-rabhasam - impetuously; upabhoktum - to enjoy; kÄmaye - desire; rÄdhikÄ iva - like ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī.
“Who manifests an abundance of sweetness greater than Mine, which has never been experienced before and which causes wonder to all? Alas, I Myself, My mind bewildered upon seeing this beauty, impetuously desire to enjoy it like ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī.â€
This text is from the Lalita-mÄdhava (8.34) of ÅšrÄ«la RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ«. It was spoken by Lord Kṛṣṇa when He saw the beauty of His own reflection in a jeweled fountain in DvÄrakÄ.
