smitÄlokaḥ Å›okaá¹ harati jagatÄá¹ yasya parito
girÄá¹ tu prÄrambhaḥ kuÅ›ala-paá¹alīṠpallavayati
padÄlambhaḥ kaá¹ vÄ praṇayati na hi prema-nivahaá¹
sa devaÅ› caitanyÄká¹›tir atitarÄá¹ naḥ ká¹›payatu
smita - smiling; Älokaḥ - glance; Å›okam - the bereavement; harati - takes away; jagatÄm - of the world; yasya - whose; paritaḥ - all around; girÄm - of the speech; tu - also; prÄrambhaḥ - the beginning; kuÅ›ala - of auspiciousness; paá¹alÄ«m - the mass; pallavayati - causes to blossom; pada-Älambhaḥ - the taking hold of the lotus feet; kam vÄ - what possibly; praṇayati - leads to; na - not; hi - certainly; prema-nivaham - quantity of love of Godhead; saḥ - He; devaḥ - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; caitanya-Äká¹›tiḥ - having the form of Lord Caitanya MahÄprabhu; atitarÄm - excessively; naḥ - unto us; ká¹›payatu - may He show His mercy.
