We can see in the scripture ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam the conduct of its author, ÅšrÄ« VyÄsadeva. After speaking the narration, he repeats it again and again.

Purport

At the end of ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam, in the Twelfth Canto, the twelfth chapter contains forty-three verses in which ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa-dvaipÄyana VedavyÄsa recapitulates ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam’s entire subject matter. ÅšrÄ« KṛṣṇadÄsa KavirÄja GosvÄmÄ« wants to follow in the footsteps of ÅšrÄ« VyÄsadeva by recapitulating the seventeen chapters of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya-caritÄmá¹›ta’s Ä€di-lÄ«lÄ.
